Collision Course

This 1989 comedy pairs Jay Leno and Pat Morita as mismatched partners -- an American cop (Leno) with no respect for the rules and a straight-arrow Japanese investigator (Morita) -- who must track down a Japanese auto engineer with a top secret design. Like Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan in Rush Hour, the closer these crime fighters come to getting their man, the better they work together. The supporting cast includes Chris Sarandon and Al Waxman.
